To Our St Winefride’s Family
Another school year has now come to an end and what a year it’s been!
We are very proud of all of the children and parents and carers for all of your efforts to keep up with learning over the past few months, we have been so impressed with the work and photographs of learning submitted on the class pages.
I am also incredibly proud of our staff for all they have done over the past few months and want to thank them for their dedication and support.
We wanted our children to have the chance to carry on with their learning over the summer holiday. The teachers have set some summer learning tasks on the class pages. There are just a few tasks for each week and we would like you to do your best to complete them over the six weeks of the holiday. These tasks are also available on the school website in the home learning area and all the links to other educational and fun activities are still there too.
We look forward to welcoming you all back to school on Thursday 3rd September and have included details of new start and end of school day times in the latest newsletter issued on Friday 17th July. Please see the newsletter section of the website for this and all previous newsletters.
For those children who have not yet returned to school, there have been some changes to help keep everyone safe, please click on the video, which will explain the changes around the school.
Over the holiday period, keep our school mission statement and our curriculum intent in mind. It is still important for us to live happy, healthy and kind lives in the way that Jesus teaches us and for us to look after each other as global citizens. Keep your body and your mind healthy and most importantly, remember that God is always with us.
God bless you
